  19.   SATANISM TODAY - A SERIOUS REPORT

  21. While looking through Forbidden
  22. Planet (the bookshop, not the BBS)
  23. Myself and PoLaRiS came across the
  24. SATANIC bible by Anton Szandor LaVey.
  25. It is a black book with the symbol of
  26. Baphomet (An inverted pentagram with a goat's head on the inside of 
  27. two circles with Leviathan written in Hebrew around the inner 
  28. circle)printed on the front in pink.Hmm,I thought,that would look good 
  29. in Amnesia,immediately became a Satanist.
  30.  The book is made up of four books,one for each crown prince of 
  31. hell:Satan,Lucifer,Belial and Leviathan.
  32.  The book of satan is only about ten pages long,and is a parody of the 
  33. Christian bible,with a few slight alterations.

  35.   Blessed are the strong,for they shall possess the earth-
  36.    Cursed are the weak,for they shall inherit the yoke!
  37.   Blessed are the powerful,for they shall be reverenced 
  38.    among men-Cursed are the feeble,for they shall be 
  39.    blotted out!
  40.   Blessed are the Bold,for they shall be masters of the 
  41.    world-Cursed are the righteously humble,for they shall 
  42.    be trodden under cloven hooves!
  43.   Blessed are the victorious,for victory is the basis of right
  44.    -Cursed are the vanquised,for they shall be vassals forever!
  45.   Blessed are the iron handed, for the unfit shall flee before 
  46.    them-Cursed are the poor in spirit,for they shall be 
  47.    spat upon!
  48.   Blessed are the death defiant,for their days shall be long in
  49.    the land-Cursed are the gazers towards a richer life beyond the
  50.    grave, for they shall perish amidst plenty!
  51.   Blessed are the destroyers of false hope,for they are the true 
  52.    messiahs-Cursed are the God adorers,fpor they shall be shorn as
  53.    sheep!

  55.    Cursed are the believers in good and evil,for they are
  56.    frightened by shadows!

  59.  The Book of Lucifer is a longer book,stating in modern terms the
  60. philosophies of Satanism.Basically,it represents indulgence instead of
  61. abstainance,vengance instead of tolerance,self preservation,and a
  62. hatred of all hypocrisy.It encourages all of the seven deadly sins,
  63. because they all lead to physical,mental and emotional gratification.
  64. It also maintains that man is just another animal,sometimes better,
  65. more often worse.
  66.  The seven deadly sins are encouraged by Satanism because they are all
  67. natural actions,and the Christian church knew this,and declared them
  68. sins,because they knew that no one was free from them,thus maintaining
  69. their power over their flock.Satanism asks,what is wrong with being 
  70. human? If you suppress all your natural urges,you will become
  71. frustrated and your creative instincts will become distorted.
  72.  Satanism is NOT the worship of that dude with 666 through his horns.
  73. The satanist defines satan as the dark forces of nature which are not
  74. yet comprehensible to mankind.This is far to impersonal to care about
  75. the behaviour of you and me,and the rest of the human race.Satanism
  76. maintains that man is responsible for everything in the universe,and
  77. there is no such thing as God's will.Anyone who thinks that satan is
  78. evil should consider all the men,women and children who have died
  79. because it was "God's will".Surely,if God is in complete control and
  80. as benign as he is supposed to be,why does he allow such things to
  81. happen?
  82.  Satanism states that God is an invention of man, to externalise his
  83. true self.Just because he has an ego and cannot accept it, he calls it
  84. this great external spiritual device which he calls "God",in order to
  85. engage in ritual and religious ceremony in his name.If man
  86. worships an entity that was created by another human being,he is,
  87. by proxy, WORSHIPING THAT PERSON!Man needs ritual and dogma,but why
  88. not worship a god created with your own emotional needs in mind -
  89. one that best represents the very carnal and physical being that has
  90. the idea power to invent god in the first place? If you insist on
  91. externalising your true self into "God" why fear your true self in
  92. fearing "God"?
  93.   When all faith in religious lies has waned,man has become farther
  94. from "God" and closer to himself;closer to the "Devil".
  95. If this is what the devil represents,then man is the Devil,and a man
  96. who wishes himself to be successful is furthering the devil's cause.

  98.  Satanism's attitude regarding sex is that you should be free to
  99. practice any sexuality you want,as long as you do not hurt anybody
  100. else.Therefore,satanism does NOT advocate rape,child molestation,
  101. bestiality (sheep shagging) etc. as this would infringe the sexual
  102. freedom of the other person (or sheep).Satanism advocates sexual
  103. freedom,literally.It would not encourage extramarital affairs or
  104. orgiastic activity unless it comes naturally to that person.Many
  105. sexual freedom groups have missed the whole point.To some having an
  106. extramarital affair would be greatly detrimental to that person and
  107. his spouse,to others being tied to the one person would be extremely
  108. frustrating.

  110.  One of the most misconcieved ideas about satanism are concerning
  111. sacrifices.Part of an animal would only be used in a ritual if it had
  112. been killed for food anyway.No animal or baby would be sacrificed, 
  113. because (apart from the fact that they are undeserving) man,the 
  114. animal,is the godhead to the satanist,and the purest form of carnal
  115. existance is to be found in animals and human children who have not
  116. yet learned to suppress their natural desires.The satanist holds these
  117. beings in sacred regard,and would not sacrifice them.
  118.  The only form of sacrifice is the HUMAN SACRIFICE.This is,however,
  119. largely symbolic, in order to release to caster's wrath and anger,and
  120. more importantly,to dispose of a truly obnoxious and deserving
  121. individual.The death of the victim is brought about by means not
  122. directly attributable to the caster.THE CASTER DOES NOT ACTUALLY KILL
  123. THE VICTIM!They curse the person in question,and hence releases all
  124. their repressed anger and hatred.The ritual is employed only on
  125. someone who has unjustly wronged the caster,whom the caster does not
  126. care about,should they live or die,and if the curse actually leads to
  127. the destruction of the person in question,all the better.
  128.   Lastly,satanism does NOT incite suicide.Those subliminal "suicide"
  129. messages on Judas Priest albums are not truly satanic (if they even
  130. existed,which they don't).Satan represents indulgence,not abstainence.
  131. Life is the great indulgence,and death is the great abstinance!An
  132. animal will fight to the death to keep its life,and so would man,if he
  133. was not so "highly evolved".Life is a party,and no one wants to leave
  134. a truly good party!
